Your Guide

My name is Jane, I am a qualified and fully insured Mountain Leader and a NNAS Tutor. I am a NNAS Gold award holder and I’m First Aid qualified.

Being Scottish, from an early age, when I climbed my first Munro at school, I completely fell in love with the hills and mountains and this is where, I can honestly say, I still feel completely free. For me, I am at my happiest when I’m in the great outdoors, exploring with my little Westie dog, Charlie.

I work collaboratively with a wonderful team of qualified guides to be able to bring you some memorable experiences.

I am a member of the British Mountaineering Council (BMC) and the Mountain Training Association (MTA).

I am a volunteer trainee for the Western Beacons Mountain Rescue team

Testimonials

“The course built well on the foundations of the bronze award. The ttor took a period to
observe and assess the level of the group before focusing on the areas of learning that would
help us develop. The delivery of the learning was smooth and catered for different learning
styles, abilities and pace of learning. The excellent practical exercises strongly reinforced all
the prior theoretical learning and I feel I personally gained invaluable experience by working
under an experienced eye and receiving very relevant feedback on performance”
